French Angora and Merino Yarn
My beloved boys have been hard at work eating all the hay and vegetables to produce this yarn! Since I only have the 2 rabbits, I only get enough to have spun about every 2 years.
Meet the Makers of Higgins Bros Yarn!
(Higgins is their middle name)
Henri Higgins is a 6 yo French Angora snuggle bunny who enjoys sitting under my bed and in my closet in addition to hopping all over the house! He loves to give kisses and to be held. He is the sweetest boy. He loves to get treats and if I open the fridge or he knows I have food, he is pawing at my leg to get his share too. Henri is a med to light grey in color.
Hugo Higgins is a 2 yo French Angora. He has the most beautiful cream colored hair. He likes to be held and loves treats. If the dogs are getting one he is standing on his food dish with mouth in the air waiting for his, too. Hugo likes to run around the laundry room. That is his playground since he is not as trusted as his brother not to get into trouble.
Both the boys bring me joy every day (except when I have to clean their cage!) I love to have a piece of them that I can have forever. Their yarn is special to me because it came from them. I hope you enjoy it also.
I brush their hair out after it has already let go of the skin. They love to get groomed since it makes them feel better. I think they feel lighter and better getting rid of it!
Yarn is a light grey color. It will pair with just about anything.

I’m is done with this yarn as the light grey and a Alpaca mix marled yarn I had in my stash. I did a repeat of 2 sections with each yarn until the end.
